Make Music Day - Adult Sing-Along @ Bill Memorial Library
Celebrate Make Music Day with a Groovy Outdoor Sing-Along at The Bill Memorial Library! The Bill Memorial Library in the City of Groton joins the Make Music Day local celebration with a groovy outdoor Sing-Along for adults on Wednesday, June 21, 2023 at 6:00 PM. Bring your singing voices and your enthusiasm and relive the 1960’s and the 1970’s with us as we join the global celebration of making music together. The sing-along will be led by a live band of local musicians. A rain day is scheduled for Thursday, June 22. Make Music Day is a one-day global event where free, live musical performances, opportunities to make music, and other musical events take place around the world on the longest day of the year. Musical festivities at the library are part of a global celebration of music making in over 1,000 cities around the world. Library hours are Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM, Wednesday and Friday, 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM and Saturday, 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The Bill Memorial Library, a landmark on Groton Heights since 1890, is located at 240 Monument Street in the City of Groton, near the Groton Monument and historic Fort Griswold.
